Fatpak and her little sister, Skinnypak, are a two homes designed to draw the best out of a challenging battle-axe block. The site had a lot going for it: sweeping views, great light and a sculptural tree. But it also had its challenges: the battle-axe-shaped and steep site. With an open-plan living area opening onto an expansive deck to soak up those views and the incredible sunsets, a dramatic skylight over the stairs and other luxurious touches, Fatpak celebrates the site’s best aspects while playing down the least flattering qualities.
